Dietary: Gluten Free & Nut Free

Total Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 10-15 minutes
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 8 skewers

Ingredients
2 large sirloin steaks (approximately 600g total), fat removed, steak trimmed and sliced roughly into bite sized cubes to your preference
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons Dezi Cooks Gyro Gyro Souvlaki Seasoning
2 large red onions, peeled and sliced into thick cubes or wedges
1 large red capsicum, core removed and sliced into bite sized pieces
2 large zucchinis, sliced into bite sized chunks

To Serve
Murray River Salt Flakes
Fresh lime wedges
Store bought flatbread or pita breads
Greek or plain yoghurt
Fresh mint
Green salad

Method
Place the cut beef into a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss the beef cubes through the olive oil. Sprinkle with the Dezi Cooks Gyro Gyro Seasoning until well coated.
Assemble your beef and cut vegetables onto the 8 skewers.
Fire up the BBQ and when at a high temperature, place the skewers onto the BBQ, close the lid and allow to BBQ for 7 minutes before checking. You want to leave them on the plate for long enough so that the grill marks press into the steak and vegetables.
Carefully turn the skewers over using a tea towel or glove (as they will be piping hot!) and cook the other side until they are cooked to your idea of perfection. Steak can be eaten medium rare etc so it’s a personal preference from this point.
Remove from the BBQ and arrange on a platter or large plate. Sprinkle with extra Gyro Gyro Seasoning and of course Murray River Salt Flakes to serve! Steak always needs Murray River Salt’s beautiful large flakes!
